About PH SEO Lab
Hi, I'm Junrel
GEO, AEO and SEO specialist. Based in the Philippines. Helping businesses get named when buyers ask AI, and found on Google Maps.
I run PH SEO Lab, a one-person SEO practice based in Taguig City, Philippines. I measure and improve whether AI engines name a business, whether it shows up in the Google map pack, and the content and technical work that feeds both, for service businesses in the United States and white-label for the agencies that serve them.
I am not an agency. I do not have account managers, junior staff, or outsourced delivery teams. When you work with PH SEO Lab, you work with me, from the first email to the monthly report.
Why I Started PH SEO Lab
I’ve been writing for search since 2019. I spent three years writing SEO content for NO-BS Marketplace, and in early 2025 that work turned into something else: measuring whether AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity actually name and cite the businesses I was writing for. That question is what pulled me into GEO and AEO.
The more I looked, the more I recognized the same problem showing up twice. A plumber with 20 years of experience and no Google Business Profile loses work every day to a newer competitor who simply shows up in Maps. A business with a strong case for AI visibility loses the same way when an assistant names three competitors and never mentions them. Different surface, same gap: people who need a business cannot find it, not because the business is bad, but because nothing is telling the algorithm, or the model, that it exists.
I focus on the US market because English-language search and AI retrieval, the algorithm signals, the buyer phrasing, the competitive landscape, are where my systems are built and tested. That focus is deliberate. Depth in one market beats a shallow claim to work everywhere.
How I Think About This Work
Specificity beats volume.
A single well-optimized Google Business Profile with consistent citations and 30 genuine reviews will outperform a business with a thousand backlinks and no local presence. A page written to answer one buyer question clearly gets cited by an AI engine more often than ten pages stuffed with keywords. Both are precision games, not volume games. I focus on the signals that actually move rankings and retrieval, not on doing more of everything.
Visibility is maintenance, not a one-time fix.
A lot of business owners want to “do SEO” once and be done with it. That is not how it works, on Google or in an AI answer. Google updates its algorithm, competitors optimize their own listings, and models get retrained. The answer an assistant gives changes more than most people realize. The businesses that stay visible are the ones with someone consistently maintaining their signals and re-measuring on a schedule, not the ones who measured once and called it done.
Transparency is not optional.
You should always know exactly what work was done, what it cost in time, and what it produced. Every report I send explains what changed and why, not because you asked for it, but because that is the only way for you to know whether the service is working. Vague reporting is how bad consultants hide poor results. I do not do vague.
The client relationship shapes the outcome.
The best results come from clients who are engaged: who respond to review requests quickly, who send me photos of completed jobs or a result they’re proud of, who tell me when they add a new service. I am not a silent contractor. I need a working relationship to do the best possible work. I will always be responsive and clear with you, and I ask the same in return.
Yes, I'm Based in the Philippines.
Here's What That Means for You
I work entirely remotely. All work is performed online. There is no part of GBP optimization, citation building, review management, AI-visibility measurement, or on-site SEO that requires me to be physically in your city. My location does not affect the quality of the work.
My rates are lower than a US or Australian consultant’s, and for a small business managing a tight budget that is a genuine advantage. But it is not the reason to hire me. The reason is that I will show you how every number was measured, the citations built, the reviews generated, the AI engines checked, the before-and-after, and let you judge the work on that, not on the invoice.
On time zones: I schedule calls to work with US Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time, and with AEST/AEDT for Australian clients. Most of the actual delivery work happens asynchronously, so time zones rarely create friction. When they do, I accommodate, not the other way around.
On communication: I write and speak in English. All reports, emails, proposals, and calls are in English. This is not a constraint I work around. It is how I work.
How I Work, Whichever Service We Start With
Here is what you can expect from the moment you inquire.
01
Discovery call, 15 to 20 minutes
We speak over Zoom or Google Meet. I learn about your business or agency, work out whether GEO/AEO, local SEO, or both make sense, and answer your questions. If it’s a good fit, I send a simple written agreement and we set a start date.
02
Measure
Before anything changes, I take a full baseline: your current AI-visibility numbers, Google Maps rankings, reviews and citations, whichever apply to the work we’re doing. Every run is recorded with its date, the engine, and the prompt exactly as asked. This is the “before” everything else gets measured against.
03
Diagnose
I separate what is missing into two piles: no page exists for this question, and a page exists and still is not being cited. They look identical on a report and need completely different fixes. Treating them as one thing is the most common way a quarter of an SEO budget disappears.
04
Fix
I work through the deliverables for whichever service you’ve bought, in the order my method requires: crawler access and entity before content, content before anything off-site. You get updates in plain English throughout, not silence until the report.
05
Re-measure and report
I re-run the identical measurement, the same buyer questions, the same ranking checks, at 30 to 60 days, against an untouched competitor as a control, so you can see what moved and what didn’t.
For the month-by-month mechanics of a specific service, the free Local SEO engagement, GEO/AEO implementation, or white-label, see that service’s page. This is the shape all of them share.
If You Have Read This Far, Let's Talk
A 15-minute discovery call costs you nothing and tells you everything you need to know about whether GEO/AEO, local SEO, or both are the right move for your business right now. I will give you a direct answer, not a sales pitch.
